69th National Convention Photo Highlights

"Boots, Buckles, Brims and Bling,”
in Dallas, TEXAS June 18-22, 2025

The Madison County Charmettes, Inc. enjoyed handling business during several Plenary Sessions at the 69th Annual Convention in Dallas, TX . Among those activities attended included the Eunice W. Thompson Merit Award Luncheon, the "Saving Our Sisters and Daughters: Detecting/Addressing Domestic Violence and Human Trafficking," to name a few of the events. Shawnee Jones was the recipient of the 2025 "Spirit Award" and Emily Dickey, who won the Eunice W. Thompson Merit Award in 2024 was presented with it during the luncheon. Those members who attended were Shirley Barfield, Emily Dickey, Novella Franklin, VeEtta Hagan, Annie Jo Martin and Janice Robinson.

Supporting our community through awareness initiatives and service

The Madison County Chapter of The Charmettes, Incorporated is dedicated to uplifting community through service and support. Our mission is to empower women and make a positive impact through various initiatives. We recently hosted our annual Prayer Breakfast on March 8 at St. James M.B. Church Fellowship Hall, bringing together individuals to offer prayer for cancer awareness. Montrell Hawkins was the speaker. The program included a praise dance and the following prayers by members: for cancer all over the world by Janice Robinson; for healing by LaShawn Robinson; for caregivers by Sharon Postell; for survivors by Tamika Jones and the closing prayer was given by VeEtta Hagan.
